Trochoidal Milling is a secure, productive method for removing material in scallops and pockets. This programming technique uses the low radial engagement of high-speed machining while maintaining a constant feed per tooth. Huge benefits, including improved tool life, can be seen in Titanium and Inconel where the chip is particularly hard to break.
