Advanced wiper technology
Wiper inserts allow for first-rate surface finish at high feed rates. Table feeds, when finishing, can be increased at least three times when compared to standard parallel land inserts.

When PW8 or KW8 inserts are mounted in the cutter, the wiper insert will be situated at +.002 inch axial depth. This is vital for the wiper action and essential for creating high quality surfaces.

Another advantage of CoroMill 345 wiper is that the insert and pocket design ensures that all inserts, including the wiper, will cut equally and wear equally. The benefit is that all inserts can be indexed at the same time and after a longer time in cut.
